No, I did not glue the broom to my new hardwood floor!
My sister just called me and said, "do you have an angled broom?" "yes." I answered "Why?" She replied "take it in your dining room, face it with the longer bristles to the north and stand it up."
I was skeptical. I followed her instructions and sure enough it's standing by itself. How? you ask. Apparently it has something to do with the angle the earth is at right now. It's not supposed to work tomorrow. I'm going to leave it up until it falls by itself just to see how long it works.

I have decided to send off some samples of my yarns and fibers to the Phat Fiber box once a month. This months theme was Elements: Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Aether. I sent in 50 samples so I got a box too.
My samples are superwash merino wool in Hellfire, and Splendiferious sock yarn in Glacier.

A roving Review!
Carin from Round the Twist video cast is doing a 3 part review of the Dyeing Arts merino tencel roving!
Part one is done, I can't wait to see parts 2 and 3.
